1. Michael Farris, Steve Deace BLAST ‘transgender care’
Convention of States (COS) Co-Founder Michael Farris appeared on Steve Deace’s show on Tuesday to discuss the recent Supreme Court case United States v. Skrmetti.
Farris explained why he supports Tennessee’s right to ban gender reassignment surgeries for minors.

2. New COS supporter nominated to Trump administration
Congressman Dan Bishop of North Carolina has been appointed to become deputy director of the Office of Management and Budget. Bishop voted in favor of the COS resolution in 2017 while a member of the North Carolina Senate.

3. Shining Stars: The outstanding COS State Team and Volunteer for 2024
Massachusetts and Illinois Grassroots Coordinator Barry Newman were named COS State Team of the Year and Volunteer of the Year respectively during the sixth annual Grassroots Awards ceremony held on the evening of December 10.

4. “The Story of...West Virginia” is compelling, inspiring
As series premieres go, it would be difficult to top the debut of "The Story of..." series written and produced by COS national staff writer Jakob Fay.
"The Story of...West Virginia" aired on December 12. In merely a shade over nine minutes, Jake explained the COS grassroots effort and the Article V process, provided appropriate context, and how the work of the grassroots truly pays off.
