Fox News shocked the world on Monday when the company abruptly announced it had “parted ways” with the wildly popular Tucker Carlson. Since then, the host’s future has been in question. On Wednesday evening, Tucker issued his first public statement since the controversy, in which he did not mention Fox by name but hinted that he intends to keep talking about the “big topics” that the mainstream media ignores. “When honest people say what’s true, calmly and without embarrassment, they become powerful,” he declared in a video message. “At the same time, the liars who’ve been trying to silence them shrink, and they become weaker. That’s the iron law of the universe. True things prevail.” “Where can you still find Americans saying true things,” he asked. There aren’t many places left, but there are some, and that’s enough. As long as you can hear the words, there is hope.” Tucker then signed off with a simple, “See you soon.”
In the months leading up to his unexpected departure from Fox, Tucker Carlson voiced public support for Convention of States, inviting Convention of States President Mark Meckler onto his hour-long “Tucker Carlson Today” show to explain how an Article V convention would work.
Mark Meckler then appeared as a guest on Friday’s entry of “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” the last episode.

Petition your state legislator
Almost everyone knows that our federal government is on a dangerous course. The unsustainable debt combined with crushing regulations on states and businesses is a recipe for disaster.
What is less known is that the Founders gave state legislatures the power to act as a final check on abuses of power by Washington, DC. Article V of the U.S. Constitution authorizes the state legislatures to call a convention to proposing needed amendments to the Constitution. This process does not require the consent of the federal government in Washington DC.
I support Convention of States; a national movement to call a convention under Article V of the United States Constitution, restricted to proposing amendments that will impose fiscal restraints on the federal government, limit its power and jurisdiction, and impose term limits on its officials and members of Congress.
I want our state to be one of the necessary 34 states to pass a resolution calling for this kind of an Article V convention. You can find a copy of the model resolution and the Article V Pocket Guide (which explains the process and answers many questions) here:

I ask that you support Convention of States and consider becoming a co-sponsor. Please respond to my request by informing the national COS team of your position, or sending them any questions you may have:
info@conventionofstates.com or (540) 441-7227.
Thank you so much for your service to the people of our district.
Respectfully, [Your Name]
