Tucker's departure confirms it's We the People vs. the elites

Published in Blog on April 24, 2023 by Brianna Kraemer

Tucker Carlson's exit from Fox News confirms the left has now taken over the entire mainstream media spread.

On Monday morning news broke that Fox News has split with its most popular show host, Tucker Carlson, who hosted the number one cable news program in the country.

With 3.5 million viewers, why is he suddenly gone from the network?

As a Convention of States supporter, Tucker understands it's not Republicans vs. Democrats; it's We the People vs. the D.C. elites.

In a Friday speech, he made his discontentment with the Republican Party obvious, saying "I'm not making a partisan point at all."

Tucker is a voice of truth in an industry dominated by deception. However, he is clearly a threat, just as the Convention of States movement is to the establishment.

From the halls of Congress, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer called on Fox News head Rupert Murdoch to fire Tucker in March. Just one month later, Schumer's dream came true. The one media personality straying from the narrative when it comes to the January 6 Capitol breach, Covid-19, and election integrity is out the door.

Tucker's departure is a reminder that we are in the midst of an existential fight between good and evil.

"What you're watching is not a political movement, it's evil," Tucker said in his Friday speech. "It might be worth taking just 10 minutes out of your busy schedule to say a prayer for the future, and I hope you will."

Our institutions have been infiltrated. This is about tyranny vs. liberty.

The news comes just days after Fox News agreed to pay $787.5 million in a settlement with Dominion Voting Systems. Two others at Fox News parted ways this past week as well: Dan Bongino and Lara Trump.

This is a result of standing up to the giant. We can't let the political elite run over every individual or organization that intends to fight the evil in today's world.

The Convention of States movement has been a target of the establishment for years, similar to Tucker. There is no way we will back down, and Tucker's split with Fox News only pushes the Article V solution forward.

Tucker's last broadcast was on Friday, April 21, which COS President Mark Meckler joined. Please support our efforts to rein in the federal government by signing the petition below.

Petition your state legislator

Almost everyone knows that our federal government is on a dangerous course. The unsustainable debt combined with crushing regulations on states and businesses is a recipe for disaster.

What is less known is that the Founders gave state legislatures the power to act as a final check on abuses of power by Washington, DC. Article V of the U.S. Constitution authorizes the state legislatures to call a convention to proposing needed amendments to the Constitution. This process does not require the consent of the federal government in Washington DC.

I support Convention of States; a national movement to call a convention under Article V of the United States Constitution, restricted to proposing amendments that will impose fiscal restraints on the federal government, limit its power and jurisdiction, and impose term limits on its officials and members of Congress.

I want our state to be one of the necessary 34 states to pass a resolution calling for this kind of an Article V convention. You can find a copy of the model resolution and the Article V Pocket Guide (which explains the process and answers many questions) here: https://conventionofstates.com/handbook_pdf

I ask that you support Convention of States and consider becoming a co-sponsor. Please respond to my request by informing the national COS team of your position, or sending them any questions you may have:
