Are Tucker Carlson and Elon Musk teaming up?

Published in Blog on May 09, 2023 by Jakob Fay

According to a new report from Axios, Tucker Carlson and Elon Musk may have had a conversation about working together following Tucker’s recent departure from Fox News.

The wildly popular host was unexpectedly dropped from the right-leaning network last month and is reportedly seeking to retaliate by launching his own media network. Unfortunately for his fans, Tucker’s contract with Fox bars him from working for anyone else until 2025, when the contract expires. This frustrating detail may prevent Tucker from returning to TV (Rumble and Newsmax have reportedly made him offers worth more than his original contract) until after next year’s presidential election.

Those close to Tucker say that he is prepared to go to war with Fox to release him from the contract.

One friend told Axios that the media star is gathering allies who will hit the network in a coordinated, “quiet and clean” attack, but are waiting for his signal.

"Now, we're going from peacetime to Defcon 1. His team is preparing for war. He wants his freedom."

Tucker’s lawyer also chimed in: “The idea that anyone is going to silence Tucker and prevent him from speaking to his audience is beyond preposterous.”

If the commentator is loosed from his contract, his exact future is still unclear, but a future in media seems all but guaranteed. One possible venture apparently may include a partnership with the CEO of Twitter, a collaboration that would thrill many of both men’s fans.

Both Tucker Carlson and Elon Musk have been perceived as anti-elitist, anti-ruling class black sheep. While Tucker is regarded by many Americans as one of the only relatable personalities in national media, Musk has a similar reputation in his respective field. The American people, particularly those who distrust the mainstream media, have not taken well to Tucker’s departure, and his former time slot’s ratings have plummeted from 3.05 million viewers the Wednesday before his exit to 1.33 million the next week.

Tucker Carlson’s departure from Fox only confirmed his own narrative that the fight in America between We the People and the establishment is very real. Millions of Americans trusted Tucker to tell the truth about politics, and now that he has been “silenced,” it seems the establishment attempt to control the narrative has succeeded. But if we know anything about Tucker, he isn’t about to quit.

In the months leading up to his departure from Fox, Tucker Carlson voiced public support for Convention of States. Mark Meckler, President of Convention of States, even made an appearance on his last show. To join Tucker Carlson and millions of patriot Americans in the fight for liberty and against the D.C. establishment, sign the petition below.

Petition your state legislator

Almost everyone knows that our federal government is on a dangerous course. The unsustainable debt combined with crushing regulations on states and businesses is a recipe for disaster.

What is less known is that the Founders gave state legislatures the power to act as a final check on abuses of power by Washington, DC. Article V of the U.S. Constitution authorizes the state legislatures to call a convention to proposing needed amendments to the Constitution. This process does not require the consent of the federal government in Washington DC.

I support Convention of States; a national movement to call a convention under Article V of the United States Constitution, restricted to proposing amendments that will impose fiscal restraints on the federal government, limit its power and jurisdiction, and impose term limits on its officials and members of Congress.

I want our state to be one of the necessary 34 states to pass a resolution calling for this kind of an Article V convention. You can find a copy of the model resolution and the Article V Pocket Guide (which explains the process and answers many questions) here: https://conventionofstates.com/handbook_pdf

I ask that you support Convention of States and consider becoming a co-sponsor. Please respond to my request by informing the national COS team of your position, or sending them any questions you may have:
