Convention of States endorser Kirk Cameron is releasing a documentary, playing in theaters next Monday and Tuesday, following the lives of parents and students who homeschool, the growing alternative to today's public school indoctrination.
We’ve all heard about the negative impacts of our public school system. Congress interjects with inappropriate actions like CRT and other Marxist agendas trying to indoctrinate our next generation.
Most recently, they've crossed yet another line by pushing LGBT policies on students and incorporating transgender ideologies into school functions. Plus, the federal government is threatening to take away hot lunch funding for low-income students if schools don't comply with these rules.
Homeschooling has become the preferred alternative to the government education system. The federal overreach in our school systems is very evident, but Convention of States can help solve this major issues. A convention allows the states to come together and discuss term limits, fiscal restraints and an overall limitation to the government's power.
Everyone needs to know of a solution to take back our education system while waiting for the states to call a convention, which is why The Homeschool Awakening is so important.
Currently, 19 of the required 34 state legislatures have passed the COS Resolution, but this collaborative effort does not happen overnight. While waiting for the remaining 15 states to submit their application for an Article V convention, parents must continue to take action in their local communities, especially when it comes to the education system.
