Public schools must follow new LGBT policies or no more free lunch for low-income students

Published in Blog on June 06, 2022 by Kristi Stroeh

Biden is using innocent and vulnerable children to shove his sexual agenda down the throats of kids and their parents by taking advantage of low income families.

His executive order regarding Title IX will take away federal funding for the hot lunch program for free and reduced meals if the school does not follow LGBT policies. Schools that receive any kind of meal funding from the government will be required to follow these rules.

Title IX currently prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex. However, the Department of Agriculture's Food and Nutrition Service has announced that low-income students will not be able to participate in its lunch program unless the school follows the Biden administration's interpretation of Title IX, “to include discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.”

In order to continue receiving funds, schools across the nation will be required to comply with transgender policies in things like sports, housing, locker rooms and bathrooms.

Calling parents domestic terrorists at school board meetings was not enough, so now they are attacking parents and children by taking away food from kids if schools and colleges choose not to follow these new LGBT policies.

Federal overreach is real and very harmful to our most vulnerable children and families.

Our country was founded on freedom. The freedom to think the way you want, go to the church you want, live and travel where you want, and work where you want. That’s the way it has worked for the last couple hundred years.

We also should have the freedom to teach our children our morals and values. Our government tells us we no longer have that right. We are to let our children be taught sexual perversion and confuse them about their sexuality.

Our government is determined to make decisions for us. From the green energy agenda, to getting rid of cows, to trying to confuse our kids, to the vaccine and mask mandates. They will get us to comply one way or another and taking away food from children is the latest strategy.

A Convention of States is needed more and more every day that this administration has control. We need to get rid of federal overreach like this executive order and so many other executive orders that have bypassed Congress and been pushed though.

We need Convention of States to limit the power of the federal government and put term limits on federal officials. Congress has way too much power and they rule the way they want, not for the good of the people. The power needs to be brought back to the people.

Petition your state legislator

Almost everyone knows that our federal government is on a dangerous course. The unsustainable debt combined with crushing regulations on states and businesses is a recipe for disaster.

What is less known is that the Founders gave state legislatures the power to act as a final check on abuses of power by Washington, DC. Article V of the U.S. Constitution authorizes the state legislatures to call a convention to proposing needed amendments to the Constitution. This process does not require the consent of the federal government in Washington DC.

I support Convention of States; a national movement to call a convention under Article V of the United States Constitution, restricted to proposing amendments that will impose fiscal restraints on the federal government, limit its power and jurisdiction, and impose term limits on its officials and members of Congress.

I want our state to be one of the necessary 34 states to pass a resolution calling for this kind of an Article V convention. You can find a copy of the model resolution and the Article V Pocket Guide (which explains the process and answers many questions) here: https://conventionofstates.com/handbook_pdf

I ask that you support Convention of States and consider becoming a co-sponsor. Please respond to my request by informing the national COS team of your position, or sending them any questions you may have:
