Biden's White House colluding with big tech to stamp out opposition

Published in Blog on September 02, 2022 by Jakob Fay

More and more evidence keeps piling up to confirm that the federal government is working directly with big tech to silence opposition to Joe Biden and the D.C. swamp. Any story or anyone standing in opposition to D.C.’s agenda is no longer safe.

Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook (now called Meta), recently revealed that his company had been approached by the Federal Bureau of Investigation during the 2020 presidential election cycle. The FBI requested that Facebook vigilantly guard against “Russian propaganda” concerning Joe Biden. Ultimately, the social media platform responded by cracking down on the Hunter Biden laptop story which was eventually proven to be true.

Last year, the Biden Administration engaged in similar activity, requesting that Twitter ban former New York Times reporter Alex Berenson who frequently used his account to question the efficacy of the COVID-19 vaccine and criticize the government’s response to the pandemic. Twitter honored the White House’s request, permanently dropping the reporter from the platform despite admitting, internally, that Berenson had not actually violated Twitter’s rules.

Now, a new report reveals that this was not the only time Biden’s White House worked directly with Big Tech to silence opposition. According to the New York Post, last year, the digital director of the White House’s COVID-19 response team confidentially emailed Instagram asking that the Meta-owned company remove a fake social media account mocking Dr. Anthony Fauci. An Instagram official responded in less than a minute.

Two states have since sued the federal government for “working with social media giants such as Meta, Twitter, and YouTube to censor and suppress free speech, including truthful information, related to COVID-19, election integrity, and other topics, under the guise of combatting ‘misinformation’.” The lawsuit further accuses Biden’s administration of “open collusion with social-media companies to suppress disfavored speakers, viewpoints, and content.”

Big Tech is dangerous enough. But working as the puppet of an unrestrained federal government spearheaded by a president who openly, frequently, and loudly demonizes the half of the country that didn’t vote for him, it has become more of a political weapon than ever before.

Fortunately, as already noted, the states are fighting back, pointing out the obvious constitutional violations of the government demanding that private companies suppress speech unfavorable to the party in power.

But we need more than just a few states acting on their own; we need a Convention of States. To join the nationwide army of self-governing activists who seek to call history's first Convention of States and put D.C. back inside its box, sign the COS petition below!

Petition your state legislator

Almost everyone knows that our federal government is on a dangerous course. The unsustainable debt combined with crushing regulations on states and businesses is a recipe for disaster.

What is less known is that the Founders gave state legislatures the power to act as a final check on abuses of power by Washington, DC. Article V of the U.S. Constitution authorizes the state legislatures to call a convention to proposing needed amendments to the Constitution. This process does not require the consent of the federal government in Washington DC.

I support Convention of States; a national movement to call a convention under Article V of the United States Constitution, restricted to proposing amendments that will impose fiscal restraints on the federal government, limit its power and jurisdiction, and impose term limits on its officials and members of Congress.

I want our state to be one of the necessary 34 states to pass a resolution calling for this kind of an Article V convention. You can find a copy of the model resolution and the Article V Pocket Guide (which explains the process and answers many questions) here: https://conventionofstates.com/handbook_pdf

I ask that you support Convention of States and consider becoming a co-sponsor. Please respond to my request by informing the national COS team of your position, or sending them any questions you may have:
