While 2022 brought enormous progress for the Convention of States movement, the year also brought the realization that the mainstream media will stand together to tear away our efforts for an Article V convention.
We received a plethora of negative press this year – from mainstream leftist media outlets, that is. Typically in public relations, that would be seen as a crisis, but for COSA, we are wrapping up 2022 feeling accomplished for making the manufactured news headlines.
Why did we make it into hit pieces at some of the "top" news outlets in the nation, such as the New York Times, Business Insider and MSNBC?
Because we clearly intend to hinder the visions of today's destructive elite. Convention of States Action is evidently worth demolishing with bold, antagonistic headlines.
So if there's anything we are taking away from this year's surge of mainstream critics, it's that we are a viable and growing threat.
That's one way to end 2022... And one heck of a way to start 2023!
These unmistakable slams had the opposite effect than the politicians and media planned. Convention of States Action experienced an influx of supporters and volunteers and only moved forward in calling for a convention.
As the year comes to a close, COS Action is looking back at the year with triumph. As each day passes, the urgency for a Convention of States becomes more evident. Campaign slogans, elections and career politicians are ineffective at bringing meaningful change to a deeply-connected establishment.

Rush Limbaugh, who openly advocated for an Article V convention, was critical of the media and how deceptive journalism has become.
"I never, ever have seen media this way. It's almost indescribable. Making up stories, refusing to run real stories. It's making themselves look like utter fools. There's no journalism, there is no media. There's pure, full-fledged advocacy here." – Rush Limbaugh
