Social Media Warrior - One of our most exclusive volunteer teams--the Social Media Warriors--is for the truly committed. We welcome new applicants who are committed to support, promote, and defend the Convention of States mission by leaving relevant comments on blogs, social media posts, and online publications.
The SMWs are on the cutting edge of protecting the Convention of States narrative online and have been known to shut down strong opponents.
Prayer Warriors - The Prayer Warriors Team consists of people of many faith traditions who recognize that the battle for freedom in America is more than political or even cultural. There is a spiritual war being waged for hearts and minds of the American People and for the very destiny of the nation.
A key issue at stake is whether the Founders' understanding of humanity as designed for freedom and endowed by their Creator with unalienable rights will be upheld by our Constitution. Those who would undermine the foundation of our country hold that truth is malleable, the law is arbitrary, and rights can be granted or withheld at the whim of political elites.
Regional Legislative Liaisons - As your state's official Legislative Liaison, you will be the interface between your state's legislators and the rest of our organization. Responsibilities include:
Educate and build relationships with state legislators and encourage their support to pass a request for a Convention of States. Strategize with State Director to connect volunteer efforts with the legislative process; track the resolution through the legislative process, keeping your state team and national staff informed of its progress. Participate in regular state and national conference calls.
Regional Event Coordinators - As the Regional Events Coordinator you will assist your state team in planning and coordinating Convention of States events. These may include an annual Rally at the State Capitol, headliner speaker events, training meetings, grassroots recruiting efforts, booths at local fairs, informational meetings etc. The ideal candidate for this volunteer position should be able to develop and carry out plans for a variety of different events. This will include securing appropriate facilities and developing a timeline and agenda for the meeting.
State Content Writers - We are actively looking for Content Writers to join our State Communication Teams. Have a unique ability to write clearly, succinctly, and speak to the hearts of our fellow patriots? We're looking for volunteers to write content for our state blogs twice a week. Content will feature volunteers, political news, and calls-to-action to raise awareness about Convention of States efforts in your state.
Regional Veterans Coalition Coordinators - As a Regional Veterans Coalitions Captain, you will help recruit, welcome, and educate other US Military Veterans in your State, and be proactive in raising grassroots support with Veterans Coalitions groups in your state. It is truly an honor and privilege to work with men and women who took an oath to protect and defend our Constitution and our nation, not just for an enlisted time in the military, but for the rest of their lives. You are those individuals who, once serving your country, always serve your country.
Follow-Up Team - The Follow-up Team member is a vital part of the state team that welcomes in new people to your state team as soon as they come in. Each FUT member will contact those who have indicated a desire to help on some level. Your job is to make them feel welcome, needed and help them find where their skills fit into the needs of your state team’s grassroots growth.
