Whether you’re up for hosting a watch party or attending one, Convention of States Foundation encourages all Americans to tune in to the Simulated Article V Convention this August to observe the Simulated Article V Convention live.
As recently announced, the 2023 Simulated Convention will take place from August 2 and 4 in Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia. Commissioners representing all 50 states will gather in person to demonstrate the Article V convention process and what an official convention would look like. Through discussion, deliberation, and debate, commissioners will propose amendments that help curb federal overreach during the three-day event.
From 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET on Friday, August 4, the final day of the convention, Americans will have the chance to watch a live stream of the convention. The final day will be the most significant, as the 50 state delegations will be debating and voting on the proposed amendments.
With just one month to go, now is the time to start planning how you and your friends will watch the Simulated Convention. Whether you’re a brand new activist or a seasoned COS veteran, this is a can’t-miss event and we’d love for you to join us in celebrating this historic moment.
We invite all grassroots activists to host a watch party to gather their friends, family, and community around for this event. Host in your very own living room, book your church’s multi-purpose room, or rent out the local library’s conference room. When it comes to the many ways to gather with other like-minded patriots, a backyard barbeque is not off the table, and everyone loves a good potluck!
The Simulated Convention is designed to show the country that the Founders' solution is ready and waiting to rein in the out-of-control federal government. We want as many people as possible to watch the proceedings, and you can help make that happen.
