The Convention of States team recognizes that elections, including often overlooked state and local elections, are crucial to the future of the Republic. That’s why, last week, our activities dove headfirst into election activity, supporting candidates who back COS, as highlighted in the latest edition of COS at Home below.
1. The legislative week ahead
This century has seen election day in the United States devolve into election season. Races that were once determined within hours are litigated for months. Public trust in the process erodes further. Apathy and cynicism become more prevalent.

2. GOP nominee for South Carolina Governor, Mark Robinson stands behind Article V
Like many Convention of States volunteers and supporters, North Carolina Lt. Governor Mark Robinson got his start in politics simply because he cared about the state of his country and community. He rose to national fame by speaking out against gun control at a Greensboro City Council meeting, where he made a passionate plea for the law-abiding majority.

3. COS endorser Congressman Chip Roy brings the heat on COS at Home
The eventful March 6 edition of "COS at Home" featured U.S. representative Chip Roy from Texas and included an exciting mailbag contest announcement.

4. Aloha State files COS resolution
In encouraging bipartisan fashion, a resolution calling for an Article V convention to discuss and propose amendments to the U.S. Constitution that would limit the power and scope of the federal government has been introduced in the Hawai'i state legislature.

5. COS grassroots blitz upgrades to Category 5
I checked the front pages of CNN, Fox, the New York Times, the Washington Post, and Forbes. President Biden or Trump (or both) appeared on every one.
But notably missing from this week’s headlines are the true heroes of the hour — the everyday men and women who are making history, undetected (or snubbed) by the media.
I am referring, of course, to the Convention of States grassroots.
