’Tis the season… for BUSTING the Deep State

It may feel like Christmas has come early… but the real work has just begun.

We must have been extra good this year because President-elect Donald Trump is checking off our wishlists, appointing COS supporters and endorsers to lead his incoming administration. “COS patriots and Article V lovers everywhere rejoiced with exceeding great joy!”

Well, I hate to be a Grinch, but it’s not all mistletoe and holly… yet. The excitement surrounding Trump’s naming multiple pro-COS cabinet members is palpable. But the fight against federal tyranny is far from over.

Now’s the time to convert our post-election momentum to real results and tangible progress. While Vice President-elect JD Vance, Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, Senator Marco Rubio, Pete Hegseth, Karoline Leavitt, Vivek Ramaswamy, and other pro-COS Trump nominees can promote Article V at the federal level, it’s ultimately up to “We the People” to set the stage for calling a convention.

Trump's inauguration will coincide closely with the opening of the new legislative session, when our state teams will hit the ground running in support of Article V. This means that we have a golden opportunity come January to pass new states.

State legislators around the country have already noticed Team Trump’s support for COS; now, we must fill in the gaps, answering any questions they may have about the Article V process and showing them the massive grassroots support for the project. Our state teams are gearing up to do exactly that on their 2025 “Surge Days.” These events require many months of hard work and preparation, plus distributing hundreds of educational resources, but the results are more than worth it. Under the Constitution, only state legislators can call a convention, making Surge Days vital for reaching this key demographic.

But even that is just the beginning. Every year, our teams hold literally hundreds of events to secure new petition signatures, drive engagement, and educate lawmakers about Article V. These are the goals the grassroots are working towards now… and will continue working towards even after every Trump appointee has been confirmed.

So, as you can see, the real work has just begun.
