The country is falling apart. It’s splitting at the seams, and well-funded, radical leftist groups are tearing the very fabric of the nation. All of it is supported by Democratic politicians.
Meanwhile, Republican politicians seem tongue-tied and impotent. Some even seem to be going along with the radicalism. Many of the large, well-funded groups on the right seem scared to take a stand, putting a finger in the wind, wondering how this all will end.
If those who deem to be our leaders won’t lead, we, the American people, will. That's the rallying cry this Fourth of July -- If You Won't, We Will! To join the fight, jump on social media and use the hashtag #IYW3.
The American people are crying out for leadership, for strength, for men and women of courage to stand. And yet, so few are. But here’s what we know about the grassroots: when others kneel, we will stand. When others are silent, we will speak out. When others cower in fear, we will step forward and lead.
We represent the conservative, America-loving, flag-waving, unafraid grassroots of America. We admire George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Linclon, Frederick Douglas and Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. (while still acknowledging their human failings). We love the national anthem, and stand and sing when it is played. To us, Mt. Rushmore is an awe-inspiring piece of American history. And we’re sick and tired of what we’re seeing on our televisions and on the internet every day.
We are tired of the disrespect for our country, its history and its symbols. We are tired of anarchists, thugs and rioters being referred to as “mostly peaceful protesters” by the media. We are tired of apologists for Marxist thuggery and blatant racism from the American left. And we are tired of our opinions being censored by the left. We are at the breaking point.
America is a good and just country. Not perfect, but good and just always striving to live up to the ideals upon which it was founded. It is exceptional, not just in the present time, but in all of human history. It has lifted more people out of poverty and rescued more from tyranny than any country that has ever existed. These are inarguable facts, etched in the face of history. A history that the radical leftists are now trying to erase. But we will not bow.
So while think tanks and pundits “think” and “talk," we will “do.” We will stand. We will fight for what is good and right and just about America. And we will fight against injustice -- real injustice -- wherever it is found.
To the elected officials, you must know, you must hear, and you must understand that we will defend this country, our states, our communities and our homes. We will defend our collective history. We will defend the United States of America and all she stands for, whether you abandon her or not.
We would rather you allow and instruct the police do their jobs and to maintain law and order, and that you call in more assistance as necessary, but if are not willing, we are. If you will not, we will.
Make no mistake, this is our rallying cry this 4th of July. If you won’t, we will -- IYW3!
We will defend the American way of life. We will defend the rule of law. We will defend American exceptionalism and greatness. We will stand for our history, our ideals and our principles. We will not kneel, and we will not be cowed into submission by politicians, neo-Marxists, anarchists and thugs, or self-important celebrities or “news” and media personalities.
It has always been so throughout American history. Regular, grassroots Americans have stood for America in her time of need. Now is a time of need. Now is the time for Americans of good faith to stand in her defense.
So this 4th of July, make a commitment to stand and fight for America, not just to grill and light fireworks. The politicians, the fancy organizations, the think-tanks -- they will not lead you in this fight (though they might follow). It is up to you, the American people, to lead the fight to save America. We are with you in that fight.
May God Bless you as you step forward, and may God Bless the United States of America.
