What if you were told that today's struggles could lead to the growth of tomorrow's leaders?
The past few years have been a struggle for the country. Inflation, border crisis, and attacks on constitutional rights have been running rampant in America for a while now. The adversity faced today will only result in a Convention of States brought to us by strengthened leaders.
There is hope. Our mission here at Convention of States will succeed.
It is of utmost importance to remember this message:
Control does not matter, for God is my ally and He is a powerful ally. He created me and made me grow. He surrounds me and is always with me.
God is and will always be with you. He is the source of your strength and with Him, you can accomplish anything. But don’t take my word for it, take the Word of God to believe it:
“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10
When looking at American history there is no way we can ignore the adversity that we have faced. In the late 1700s, America was the first of its kind after adopting the title of a Constitutional Republic. We saw the creation of a Constitution promising rights to its people. However, this was not as easy as it looked. There was no outline of how to run this country. It required a lot of adaptation and understanding that things will change. Why else would the Constitution be referred to as a living document?
America endured many hurdles – the Revolutionary War and the Civil War to name a few. But we did not see America crumble under that adversity. Instead, it brought to life a free country with the Constitution and abolishment of slavery. We also saw the threat of freedom in both World Wars, but America stepped up. None of these were easy and that is okay.
Out of the ashes of adversity rises strength and growth. When looking at the problems in America today, it is crucial to remain calm and use this leverage to grow.
Remember what David Kuhnert, author of Servant Leadership, reminds us in his book. There are only three controllable things in life:
1) Whom we trust
2) Our Attitude
3) Our Actions
It is our time to trust God, fix our attitude, and take action to call for a Convention of States to restore strength to our home.
