Join the Convention of States movement

Published in Blog on December 04, 2020 by Rob Rodman

I have three questions for Valdosta area citizens:

  1. Are you fed up with some government officials telling you what you can do or not to do?
  2. Are you tired of career politicians working for themselves and not We the People?
  3. Have you had enough of watching misleading political ads, day after day?

Join the only organization that has the solutions. My name is Rob Rodman, a volunteer leader with the Convention of States movement.

Our main mission is to recruit and educate a grassroots army of self-governing citizens. We are calling for a Convention of States to propose amendments to our Constitution, utilizing Article V of the Constitution.

Our Article V resolution allows for proposals on three topics:

  1. Term limits for elected and appointed officials,
  2. Fiscal restraints, such as a balanced budget amendment, and
  3. Limiting the power and scope of the federal government in order to restore the balance of power.

Our Founding Fathers created the greatest two documents in history: the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States.

The original Constitution was written on four pieces of parchment paper! The added amendments created just two more pieces of parchment.

The Constitution as interpreted by the Supreme Court is over 3,000 pages. It is difficult to understand, and goes well beyond the limits our Founders intended.

Someone once asked me if I knew the difference between a politician and a patriot. A politician only cares about getting reelected. A patriot cares about what is best for future generations.

The Convention of States movement is made up of many patriotic, self-governing citizens. Now is the time to join the Convention of States movement. Now is the time to say enough is enough.

P.S. William Few and Abraham Baldwin were the Georgians who signed the Constitution
