John Kerry's official position is the "United States special presidential envoy for climate." Otherwise known as the "climate czar," Kerry's position is a first of its kind and supposedly involves pursuing "green energy" policies around the world.
It's also shrouded in secrecy.
According to a new report from the Boston Herald, no one knows how much Kerry is paid, who is on his staff, or even what his official duties are. We know he travels around the world in a private jet lecturing poor people about climate change, but beyond that, Kerry's position is a black box.
In a response to a Freedom of Information Act Request, the State Department claimed that the request does not qualify for expedited delivery and cannot be completed until 2024.
Why is the State Department so desperate to hide Kerry's salary, office, and duties? Why can't the American people know how much they're paying the former Secretary of States to lecture us on the supposed dangers of climate change?
We can think of a few reasons. Kerry was obviously given the cushy position as a favor from the Biden administration. His salary is certainly exorbitant, and Biden and his cronies know that the American people would be furious if they knew how much they were paying for a useless position.
So, they're stonewalling the FOIA request in the hopes that the American people will forget about Kerry and move on to something else.
But the American people won't forget. They won't forget how much money is wasted every year paying Swamp monsters to do useless tasks. They won't forget how Congress has allowed the federal debt to grow to an astounding $30 trillion. And they won't forget how their children and grandchildren will foot the bill for this generation's reckless spending.
That's why they've decided to do something about it. Over 2.3 million Americans and 18 states have called for an Article V Convention of States to limit federal power, spending, and terms of office.
A Convention of States is called and controlled by the states and has the power to propose constitutional amendments. These amendments can limit the ability of Washington to spend money on topics not expressly mentioned in the Constitution, force Congress to balance the budget, and mandate term limits for federal officials.
These amendments, in other words, can eliminate Kerry's position (along with dozens of Swamp agencies) and compel Congress to get our nation's finances under control.
