Idaho Statehouse Rally - January 18, 2018

Published in Blog Hottest on January 10, 2018 by Paul Hodson

Let's Finish What We Started!

Last year, our Idaho State Legislature failed to move the Convention of States resolution through committee.

The common response from our legislators is that they did not hear from YOU!

On Thursday, January 18, join with your fellow Convention of States Idahoans at the statehouse in Boise.

We'll be meeting with legislators, distributing Convention of States material, and gathering on the front steps with COS President Mark Meckler, demonstrating our support for the Convention of States Resolution in Idaho.

Activities Planned

8:00-9:00am - Breakfast at the Garden Level Cafeteria. Meet up with your fellow Convention of States Idahoans. Materials for Legislators will be handed out to supporters here.

9:00-11:00am - Legislator meetings, working with other COS Idaho volunteers, getting to know the Statehouse building.

11:30am-12:00pm - Begin making your way to the front steps of the Statehouse for the rally.

12:00-12:45pm - Rally on the front steps with COS President Mark Meckler will begin at 12:15, and last about 30 minutes - dress appropriately!

12:45pm - Group photo on the front steps of your Statehouse!

1:00-3:00pm - Lunch, more legislator meetings.

Try to stay for the 5:00 meeting - a chance to meet with Mark Meckler, possibly some legislators. Walk the halls of the Statehouse, display your COS buttons everywhere!

5:00 to 6:00 pm- Community meeting and Q & A with Mark Meckler, room WW-17 of the Statehouse.

Plan to participate both before and after the rally. The Idaho statehouse is YOUR house. Make yourself at home!
