A revival among Americans is taking place across the nation with new data that reveals younger voters are the most inclined to support a Convention of States in order to fix the corrupted landscape of Washington.
While nearly two-thirds of all Americans support a Convention of States for proposing amendments to the Constitution, according to polling from The Trafalgar Group – one of America's most trusted and accurate pollsters – age demographics show the strongest support among college-aged adults from 18-24 years old and 35-44 years old – think parents with kids still in the house.
College students are clearly looking ahead with dismay for their own lives and so are parents with children. The key figure reveals the outlook young adults and young parents have and how serious they believe it is to address the mounting problems of the U.S. government.
Even with the extreme biases in the university systems, a glimmer of hope is found in that nearly 70% of 18 to 24-year-olds support the Article V approach. Notably, Gen Z also holds the least resistance, meaning that with more information and knowledge on the subject, this generation would be even more inclined to support a convention.
Even bigger is the support among 35 to 44-year-olds, in which 71% support a Convention of States. The polling provides clear confirmation that the Convention of States Project is reaching the hearts and minds of generations to come.
Regardless of many of today’s most pressing political topics, a national debt over $30 trillion alone is frightening enough to make younger adults deeply consider where this country is headed and how we can change course.
Established career politicians have selfishly destroyed the outlook of America, not for themselves but for rising generations that have no choice but to address the issues head on in the years to come.
The COS movement is committed to spreading the message to Americans of all ages while also holding legislators accountable to the will of the people.
Consider getting involved with Convention of States to help make an Article V convention a reality, and don’t forget to sign the petition below.
