Unifying data from The Trafalgar Group, one of America's most trusted and accurate pollsters, shows every major ethnicity group highly in favor of the Article V solution to federal government overreach.
Asians and Whites expressed the most support for a Convention of States, and remarkably, Asians and Hispanics were the most open to the idea – either supportive or not yet sure. Overall, every ethnicity group tends to be extremely supportive.
When it comes to today’s divided nation, it’s hard to think of what issue nearly everyone can get behind. However, these polling demographics convey a unified message from the American people: enough is enough, a Convention of States is worth the shot.
Americans of every ethnicity that support COS don’t let fear, doubt and uncertainty stop them from saving the Republic. They recognize that the federal government has become unproductive and wasteful, with no end in sight.
Article V allows for a peaceful way to get out of the hole politicians in D.C. have dug us into, which gives the state legislatures the power to call a convention.
“The founders saw this problem was inevitable, and inserted a provision into Article V of the Constitution to empower the states to return our Republic to its original design. Clearly, the public support is there across all demographics to make this happen,” said Convention of States Action President Mark Meckler.
While politicians try to divide Americans based on any minuscule differences, it’s clear the idea of an Article V convention is something the people can unite around against the Washington establishment.
With the majority in support, only one out of every six people blatantly opposes a Convention of States. With the problems in the federal government as big as they are, an Article V convention to get Washington back in check is the undeniable answer.
Let us know you support the growing COS movement by signing the petition and getting involved in your local COS group. Together we ALL can unite and make a change in Washington.
