America’s sickening reality revealed in Durham report

Published in Blog on May 16, 2023 by Brianna Kraemer

The long-awaited Durham report was released on Monday after more than three years, revealing the FBI had no verified evidence for opening an investigation into former President Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign.

The Justice Department opened the Crossfire Hurricane probe to investigate Trump's connections to Russia. However, Special Counsel John Durham concludes that there was no basis for the claims, proving the agency was set on taking down Trump’s campaign and destroying his public image.

"Neither U.S. law enforcement nor the Intelligence Community appears to have possessed any actual evidence of collusion in their holdings at the commencement of the Crossfire Hurricane investigation," Durham wrote in a 300-plus page report sent to Congress.

In simple terms, this means the federal government targeted an American citizen on absolutely no grounds, a frightening reality for the nation.

A key finding in the report explained that the Clinton campaign was behind the entire scheme. The FBI received intelligence "from a trusted foreign source pointing to a Clinton campaign plan to vilify Trump by tying him to Vladimir Putin so as to divert attention from her own concerns relating to her use of a private email server."

There were not just double standards between Hillary Clinton and Trump but a coordinated strategy with Clinton to take down Trump. Another point of relevance is that former intel agents promoted the narrative even though they knew there was no legitimate evidence.

Former CIA Director John Brennan said to the House Intelligence Committee in 2017 that he was "aware of information and intelligence that revealed contacts and interactions between Russian officials and U.S. persons involved in the Trump campaign." But as the report proves, Trump had no connection to the Russian government, showing that past government officials were willing to assist in fabricating a story.

The entire report demonstrates a sad reality for America: we are not as free as we think. Freedom requires mutual respect for individual rights, and the Durham report confirms our own government doesn't abide by the rule of law.

Operatives inside the government are against We the People; they are against our vote, our access to information, our ability to think freely, and above all else, equal treatment before the law.

Once again, Article V appears to be the only true solution the people possess. There’s a way to fight back and it requires taking the power back from those who can’t be trusted.

Petition your state legislator

Almost everyone knows that our federal government is on a dangerous course. The unsustainable debt combined with crushing regulations on states and businesses is a recipe for disaster.

What is less known is that the Founders gave state legislatures the power to act as a final check on abuses of power by Washington, DC. Article V of the U.S. Constitution authorizes the state legislatures to call a convention to proposing needed amendments to the Constitution. This process does not require the consent of the federal government in Washington DC.

I support Convention of States; a national movement to call a convention under Article V of the United States Constitution, restricted to proposing amendments that will impose fiscal restraints on the federal government, limit its power and jurisdiction, and impose term limits on its officials and members of Congress.

I want our state to be one of the necessary 34 states to pass a resolution calling for this kind of an Article V convention. You can find a copy of the model resolution and the Article V Pocket Guide (which explains the process and answers many questions) here: https://conventionofstates.com/handbook_pdf

I ask that you support Convention of States and consider becoming a co-sponsor. Please respond to my request by informing the national COS team of your position, or sending them any questions you may have:
