This is a non-partisan, easy to follow and enlightening experience. The Patriot Academy course successfully explains interesting parts of the Constitution and the Founders' thought process through videos hosted by David Barton and Rick Green. Their informal chats on specific Amendments and associated videos were recorded at David Barton’s famed Constitutional Library in TX and also at Independence Hall Philadelphia.
Topics covered include:
- Amendment 1: Freedom of Religion, Speech, and the Press Separation of Church and State
- Amendment 2: The Right to Bear Arms
- Amendment 3: The Housing of Soldiers
- Amendment 4: Protection from Unreasonable Searches and Seizures
- Amendment 5: Protection of Rights to Life, Liberty, and Property
- Amendment 6: Rights of Accused Persons in Criminal Cases
- Amendment 10: Undelegated powers that are clearly defined to be the direct control of the States and Citizens - not the Federal Government
