Who's replacing Dr. Fauci? Diving into the remdesivir queen as health mandates loom

Published in Blog on September 01, 2023 by Brianna Kraemer

September is here, which means government health mandates are just around the corner. The Biden administration is reportedly preparing agencies for new lockdowns, masks, boosters, and social distancing in September or October. But now that the infamous Dr. Fauci is no longer in public view, who will be the new face of lockdowns?

Get ready to start hearing the name Dr. Jeanne M. Marrazzo. Marrazzo is entering the scene this fall as the new director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), the NIH announced last month.

Dr. Fauci finally left the scene last year after 50 years in the federal government when criticism of his authoritarian, Covid-19 decisions reached a fever pitch. One so-called 'expert' fled public scrutiny and another problematic 'expert' is taking his place.

Marrazzo is behind the extremely controversial drug remdesivir, the medication that hospitals pushed on intensive care Covid-19 patients. The drug is an antiviral that was originally developed by Gilead Sciences as a treatment for Hepatitis C and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), according to The Defender

Investigative reporter Jordan Schachtel said studies “show that there are zero clinical benefits to injecting patients with remdesivir." As cheap solutions like hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin were criticized by officials as a Covid treatment option, remdesivir was uplifted by Dr. Fauci and other officials as the "standard of care" for treating Covid. It became the first medication approved for Covid treatment – and one of the most expensive. According to the Epoch Times, a five-day treatment plan of remdesivir with private health insurance is priced at over $3,000.

With ties to Gilead, Dr. Marrazzo supervised clinical trials of remdesivir as a treatment for Covid at the University of Alabama Birmingham (UAB), where she served in a key administrative role.

"These earlier studies enabled remdesivir to more quickly be tested and approved for human use as a treatment for COVID-19 when the 2020 pandemic struck," UAB stated.

Marrazzo called the drug a 'silver bullet' to fighting Covid and expressed her strong support on social media. However, she never revealed her conflict of interest, which was the partnership between the University of Alabama and the drug manufacturer, Gilead. According to Schachtel's report, Marrazzo has “never shown remorse” for pushing the drug despite mounting evidence of the harm it has caused.

Studies show the drug can harm critical organs like the heart and kidneys. A study in the National Library of Medicine concluded, "Although causality was not confirmed, the association between remdesivir and acute kidney injury should not be ignored, especially in the older, male COVID-19 inpatients."

The World Health Organization warned against remdesivir in November 2020. Dr. Peter McCoullough cited this warning, insisting that "every state Senate in the United States should have had emergency meetings and said get remdesivir out of the hospitals."

Here we go again... Feds expected to flex their authoritative, mask mandate muscle

The latest flip-flopping fed has been called a "Fauci clone." During the early days of Covid, she openly said hydroxychloroquine was being used in hospitals as a treatment option. But by October 2021, she ridiculed advocates of alternative therapies, stating that hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin hold “special appeal” to the unvaccinated.

America's newest health leader carries heavy baggage with her. She's all for rigid health restrictions, quick to blame the unvaccinated, a backer of gain-of-function research, and closely connected to Big Pharma. She already called on Americans to "make personal sacrifices for the greater good," and she'll most certainly do it again.

Out with the old, in with the new, the bureaucracy rules, and what are we to do?

We're to call an Article V convention to ensure our rights and freedoms are protected from forthcoming power grabs. Convention of States is the way We the People can push back because nothing will change until we all stand up against the Washington bullies.

Less talk, more action. Support the COS effort to rein in the federal government by adding your name to the petition below. State power is how we combat the dysfunctional actions committed by the feds.

Petition your state legislator

Almost everyone knows that our federal government is on a dangerous course. The unsustainable debt combined with crushing regulations on states and businesses is a recipe for disaster.

What is less known is that the Founders gave state legislatures the power to act as a final check on abuses of power by Washington, DC. Article V of the U.S. Constitution authorizes the state legislatures to call a convention to proposing needed amendments to the Constitution. This process does not require the consent of the federal government in Washington DC.

I support Convention of States; a national movement to call a convention under Article V of the United States Constitution, restricted to proposing amendments that will impose fiscal restraints on the federal government, limit its power and jurisdiction, and impose term limits on its officials and members of Congress.

I want our state to be one of the necessary 34 states to pass a resolution calling for this kind of an Article V convention. You can find a copy of the model resolution and the Article V Pocket Guide (which explains the process and answers many questions) here: https://conventionofstates.com/handbook_pdf

I ask that you support Convention of States and consider becoming a co-sponsor. Please respond to my request by informing the national COS team of your position, or sending them any questions you may have:
