The Convention of States Project's application was officially filed in the Rhode Island legislature!

In conformity with the resolutions filed in 48 other states, to date, and already passed in 19 states, HR 5188 sets the agenda of the meeting to consider amendments that "impose fiscal restraints on the federal government, limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government, and limit the terms of office for its officials and for members of Congress."
The process has officially begun, and we will be keeping you updated at every step along the way.
