North Dakotans should live as they desire, and Californians should live as they wish. In essence, that is federalism.
During a recent interview, Rick Santorum cited the Founders' brilliant federalist system as the only way for the nation to survive.
"What the Convention of States is about is, 'America can only survive as America, with free people, if states are allowed to have the power back. Get the power out of Washington, D.C. so they don't have the power to enforce their woke ideology on the rest of the nation," Santorum said.
