Cody is a 10-year-old Maryland Boy Scout and a Convention of States Maryland essay contest winner. He received an award at Citizen Action Day.

Convention of States President, Mark Meckler, was duly impressed with Cody's testimony as was a state senator, who signed the joint resolution upon meeting Cody and discussing Article V.

Cody, was featured on the Convention of States national Rumble channel with his testimony to the Maryland Senate in support of the COS bill:

"The founders and framers wanted the best out of these two systems, with the purpose of protecting the rights of the people as the number one priority. Why? Because without people, there is no government...Protect us, your children, your future."
