It's GO time!
Wisconsin Sen. Dan Knodl attended the Convention of States Foundation's Simulated Article V Convention last month in Virginia, where he sat on the Federal Legislative & Executive Jurisdiction Committee.
Knodl says the committee was successful in breaking off into subcommittees while staying within the limits of the application. He hopes the simulated convention is a beacon of hope and gives confidence to state legislatures to move the Article V solution forward.
"It's well past time to get to a convention to use the authority granted to the states," Knodl said during an interview. "The states are willing to come together and make the effort to reunite the United States."
It can be done and soon enough, it will be done.
