The Preamble to the U.S. Constitution is amazing. Look at how it starts off: We The People.
"We the people" joined this movement, because we believe in America and love her deeply. We want the future to be bright, prosperous, and free.
Most importantly, we are acting with courage, in the spirit of the Founding generation. America is special. She's the only nation founded on an idea — that our absolute rights as individuals are not rooted in the authority of a government, nor dependent on the whims of fallen men, but rather our rights come from Natures Law.
The birth of our nation catapulted the entire world forward. The world has advanced more in the past 200 years than the previous 5,000.
This is a special time to celebrate America, her birth, and those principles we share.
I'm reminded of a book that Mark Meckler recommends titled "The Ideological Origins of the American Revolution." It contains hundreds of excerpts from the letters, books, and pamphlets circulating leading up to the American Revolution that give a window into the soul of a nation that deeply revered self-governance.
That blood still runs in our veins. I believe we are part of a constitutional awakening, a new generation of American revolutionaries.
There is so much to look forward to and celebrate! We hope everyone has a wonderful Independence Day and 2018.
