A Special Message to Our Veterans, From a Veteran

Published in Blog on October 04, 2021 by Robert Fischer

The CH-53 lands on the deck of the LHA. The litter-bearers run down the ramp to the “triage area” of the Hospital Bay. The 18-year-old is brought into surgery right away. “Doc, [everyone in the medical area was called doc]. Am I gonna make it?”

“We will do our best, Marine.” With 98% burns across his body, I knew he had no chance. He was dead within 24 hours.

In the corner of the triage area, the Chaplain was with a soldier with a sucking chest wound who was taking his last breath. Two corpsmen laid another down next to him. The Chaplain sighed, said a few prayers, and moved on to the next casualty.

These are stories that we as veterans have seen many times over. However, each one of us served with the notion that we may not be going back home. We did so because of the people back home. We would proudly give our lives so that Americans can retain our freedom.

We know there are casualties in war. We accept them as a given. We honor and respect all brothers and sisters who have given life or limb in the name of freedom!

But what we cannot and will not accept is the loss of 20 years of casualties given up freely by a discombobulated occupant of the White House, and a “WOKE” general. (Learn about our woke military HERE). The deaths of the 12 Marines and single Navy Corpsman who went in to save the people left behind were no or less more heroic than any other military member who swore to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

Their deaths and casualties occurring in the long war was only part of the heart-breaking problem. The leaving behind of thousands of US citizens and Afghani allies is unconscionable.

Never did we lose a war so disgracefully due to our leaders. To add salt to the wound, we left behind billions of dollars’ worth of high-tech equipment. Are our leaders mad? President Biden and General Miley need to be tried for treason and war crimes!

But, my brother and sister veteran patriots, this is what you get when you elect “WOKE” Marxists to office. They care about nothing but power. They don’t care who they hurt or kill to get it.

All their power comes from overreach… manipulating the system to get control over the people. Even if it’s unconstitutional. Or if they must change the number of Supreme Court judges to get it. WE MUST NOT ALLOW THIS!

A Call to Action

How do we stop them? We vote to get them out. But we should never allow them to gain overreach power again. We can do this by an Article V Convention of States. It brings constitutional power back to the people where it belongs.

It is safe, powerful, and it is controlled by the individual states (the people) and not the federal government (the Congress). It has the power to propose constitutional amendments that limit federal power, force Congress to be fiscally responsible, and mandate term limits for federal officials.

Your call to action is to invite your friends to join the National Convention of States and to invite your friends to join. Together, as veteran patriots, we can once again protect the freedoms and liberties that we and our families currently enjoy.

But we must do it NOW! The longer we wait, the more we risk our current freedoms and liberties that come with a Marxist government take over.

We need to stand up against the left by joining together, speaking out, and using our rights and the Constitutional tools provided us by the Founders of our Country. Be a 21st Century Patriot. Join us and sign the petition at Convention of States.

Petition your state legislator

Almost everyone knows that our federal government is on a dangerous course. The unsustainable debt combined with crushing regulations on states and businesses is a recipe for disaster.

What is less known is that the Founders gave state legislatures the power to act as a final check on abuses of power by Washington, DC. Article V of the U.S. Constitution authorizes the state legislatures to call a convention to proposing needed amendments to the Constitution. This process does not require the consent of the federal government in Washington DC.

I support Convention of States; a national movement to call a convention under Article V of the United States Constitution, restricted to proposing amendments that will impose fiscal restraints on the federal government, limit its power and jurisdiction, and impose term limits on its officials and members of Congress.

I want our state to be one of the necessary 34 states to pass a resolution calling for this kind of an Article V convention. You can find a copy of the model resolution and the Article V Pocket Guide (which explains the process and answers many questions) here: https://conventionofstates.com/handbook_pdf

I ask that you support Convention of States and consider becoming a co-sponsor. Please respond to my request by informing the national COS team of your position, or sending them any questions you may have:
