Former United States Senator from Pennsylvania, two-time presidential candidate, and Convention of States Senior Advisor Rick Santorum will appear live on The National Desk, a news production by the Sinclair Broadcast Group, on June 4 at 7:30 a.m. ET.

He recently spoke at the Convention of States Rally in Raleigh, where he urged the North Carolina legislature to pass the COS resolution calling for an Article V convention.

“I believe in elections, and elections are important,” he declared, “but to change Washington, D.C., is going to take more than an election.”

In light of several recent groundbreaking developments in the Tar Heel State, COS supporters are clamoring for updates about our progress in the North Carolina State Capitol. Following the passage of HJR 235, the COS resolution, in the North Carolina House last year, grassroots activists set their sights on the Senate, intending to secure North Carolina’s position as the 20th state in the union to join the movement. Bolstered by the support of nearly 100,000 petition signers in the state, the team remains focused on broadening outreach efforts and swaying legislators with bipartisan backing for the cause.
