North Carolina is on the verge of becoming the 20th state in the union to pass a Convention of States resolution.
Over 95,000 North Carolinians (and counting) have signed the COS petition calling for their legislature to approve a resolution in favor of an Article V convention.
We're asking your help to to seize upon the momentum created in North Carolina and bump that number to 100,000.
The COS resolution, known as HJR 235, was approved by the North Carolina House last year and is now up for consideration in the Senate.
It is incumbent that it pass during this session of the legislature. Significant support for the resolution will resonate in Raleigh. Legislators act when they hear from their constituents in great numbers, and 100,000 signatures will certainly garner attention.

Don't be bashful about sharing the good news about the enormous progress that the North Carolina COS team has made.
Members of the COS North Carolina team have recently campaigned in 16 statewide primary races for candidates who support an Article V application and were successful in 14 of the races. In three “open seat” House districts and one Senate district, the COS-endorsed candidates have advanced to the general election.
Earlier this month, hundreds of supporters from North Carolina and surrounding states rallied in Raleigh to hear from Convention of States Action national and state leaders, and to speak with senators and urge them to pass the resolution.
COS Reginal Director Grant Martin continues to be encouraged by the progress that has been made in North Carolina despite significant obstacles.
"The North Carolina team has seen many frustrations and changes," he said, "including a legislative chamber that has been slow to act, state leadership changes, and serious physical challenges with key personnel. None of this has slowed down the team. They continue to persevere."
Let's support these efforts and achievements by getting over the 100,000 mark for petition signers in the Tar Heel State, and keep the momentum going that will see North Carolina become the 20th state to call for an Article V convention.
Encourage everyone you know on every platform and outlet to sign the petition below as soon as possible.
