What happened to due process?
The federal government has been weaponized against the American people.
On September 12, 2013, the Huffington Post published an article titled: "10 Most Notorious Criminals in History." Among the listed reprobates were Al Capone, the ruthless gangster who ran a Chicago-based empire of illegal liquor, gambling, and prostitution, Charles Manson, the head of a religious cult who premeditated seven murders in 1969, and John Wayne Gacy a.k.a. the Killer Clown, who slaughtered at least 33 men and boys, hiding their bodies in his crawl space.
These three sociopaths, guilty as sin and entirely apathetic towards their heinous crimes, were all given due process of law and convicted by a jury of their peers in a U.S. court of law.
The January 6th prisoners, mostly charged with trespassing on federal property and obstructing an official proceeding, have not. Instead, they've been incarcerated, slandered, vilified, had their food spit in, sleep-deprived, mistreated, beaten, and isolated. Not even Julius and Ethel Rosenberg, the traitors who sold secrets of the atomic bomb to the Russians, were treated so horridly.
Whether the residents of the American gulag are guilty or not, the federal government is now using January 6th as a bludgeon to try and silence anyone who speaks out against their totalitarian agenda, just as Nero used the burning of Rome against Christians, or in the case of the Reichstag fire, the crisis Hitler used to gain absolute power in Germany.
If the federal government can suspend due process for the J6'rs, they can suspend it for anyone.
While a handful of America's first political prisoners have been released on bail, 78 still remain incarcerated as of this writing. Some have been able to describe their experiences, and every American should take heed of their stories.
Much more can be learned of the atrocious human rights violations exacted upon our fellow citizens here.
Fortunately, the gross mistreatment of the prisoners and disregard for their rights has not gone unnoticed, as more and more people are becoming aware and outraged, including federal judge Trevor McFadden, who compared the double standard of the Justice Department when dealing with the J6rs as opposed to those who participated in the George Floyd riots.
Despite their captors and most of the mainstream media calling these prisoners "insurrectionists," none of them have actually been charged with insurrection.
If we are going to save our nation and preserve freedom for future generations, we must end this abuse by the federal powers. America was built by self-governance, and it will be restored by the same.
Never forget the January 6th prisoners. This could be any of us. A federal government this powerful needs to be reined in, and an Article V Convention of States is the only peaceful way to do it.
