Citizen-warriors won our Revolution. Access to firearms and hunger for freedom carried the day. The ruling class did not rule by consent of the governed. They ruled by power, control, fear, and terror.
Europe’s political elite, King George and his aristocratic relatives, outlawed ownership of all weapons except for those owned and used by the aristocracy. In the 1600s and 1700s, these laws were for the security and protection of the ruling class. Weapons in less-than-noble hands were a threat to the status-quo. Weapons like swords, pikes, long knives, maces, lances, and bludgeons as well as firearms were banned. 
Our power to govern is controlled by citizen votes and guaranteed by citizens access to physical power in the form of weapons. The 2nd Amendment guarantees a citizen’s right to keep and to bear arms.
Today’s “aristocrats” are elected rather than born to their noble place. These modern-day aristocrats fear loss of power, and control just like those aristocrats of old. That fear drives the attempt to outlaw any and all weapons which could force or cause the new aristocrats to lose power and control. To stay in power today’s political elite tries to outlaw or control anything which they see as a threat. They see “threat” from two major areas, votes, and guns.
When a citizen’s vote is stolen, destroyed, or denied’ only one weapon remains, the gun. Today there is a focused and highly energized assault on our “votes” and our guns. Voter reform laws attempt to prevent election fraud. The vigor of the attacks on voter reform laws by the entrenched elite shine bright the lights on conspiracy and election fraud. The entrenched political elite, those most adamant against election reform, have the most to lose. As citizens we have the most to protect, our rights to honest and fair elections and the right to keep and bear arms to protect those rights.
As election reforms laws gain momentum, the elites turn up the heat against our main line of defense against the permanent political elite, the 2nd Amendment.
The Convention of States becomes the brightest light and greatest hope for our protection from these elites as only the Convention of States protects from government overreach, the Constitution and it’s powerful and essential 2nd Amendment.
