Nigerian Money Heist of Your Tax dollars

Published in Blog on October 17, 2023 by Robert Bonhag

In 2020, Abidemi Rufai, an ex-Nigerian official defrauded American taxpayers and stole $500,000 of their money in coronavirus relief funds.

In his heist, the Nigerian phony used 20,000 stolen American identities to apply for unemployment benefits from COVID relief funds and collected money from unprotected, unchecked, and open-to-steal funds created by our government in 2020-21.

This is just one example. Billions of tax dollars were stolen in the pandemic, with Washington acting as a spectator.

Abidemi Rufai was later arrested and imprisoned, yet the money he stole was spent on luxury hotels, business class flights, Cartier watches, and gold chains, and never recovered.

One has to wonder how an individual could defraud a government machine with three million employees and unlimited financial and technical resources.

The fact is: that the Federal government is unable to be responsible for our money.

Stay tuned to our Blogs to know more about how your government is frittering away your money.
