Several dedicated North Carolina Convention of States volunteers worked at the Asheville Gun Show over the January 13 weekend to gather supporters and new volunteers.
COS volunteers were happy to meet the many North Carolina patriots who arrived at our booth to show their support for the grassroots Convention of States movement. Folks are becoming more and more frustrated with the way things are working in Washington, D.C., and they are doing something about it.
The team collected 174 new petition signatures, and over 20 new volunteers signed up to assist us in pushing the COS resolution toward passage in the North Carolina legislature in 2018.
We at Convention of States North Carolina are encouraged by the fact that younger petition signers are aware of the problems in our federal government.
They are “woke” about the issues and are expressing their concerns by joining with us to try to correct the problem. It is they, after all, who are on the hook for the huge debt that our government is incurring.
