As our state teams have grown over the last several years, we've been adding new leadership positions to handle a wide range of responsibilities. The Events Coordinator is the latest opportunity, and we're excited to read your application!
As the State Events Coordinator you will assist your state team in planning and coordinating Convention of States events. These may include an annual rally at the state capitol, headliner speaker events, training meetings, grassroots recruiting efforts, booths at local fairs, informational meetings etc.
The ideal candidate for this volunteer position should be able to develop and carry out plans for a variety of different events. This will include securing appropriate facilities, and developing a timeline and agenda for the meeting.
This exciting volunteer position requires the ability to function well with the state leadership and work within deadlines.
Time commitment will vary, depending on what events are being planned.
