Nevada citizens demand AJR7 be called up for a vote

Published in Blog on July 17, 2017 by Convention Of States Project

It's crunch time in Nevada, and we need your help to save the Convention of States resolution!

All bills have to be out of committee this week, but one Assemblyman is keeping the Convention of States resolution from being scheduled for a vote.

If you live in Nevada, we need you to email or call Assemblyman Lynn Stewart today! He is the chair of the Assembly Legislative Operations Committee. Please ask him to hold a vote on AJR7 this week so that the issue can move to the Assembly floor.

Here is his contact information:

Assemblyman Lynn D. Stewart, (R-22)

Lynn.Stewart@asm.state.nv.us

775-684-8823

Please urge Assemblyman Stewart to move AJR7 to the Assembly floor and to vote YES on AJR7 himself.

Tell him AJR7 is the only way that we as citizens can get the bloated, corrupt, reckless and invasive federal government under control.

Also mention to Assemblyman Stewart that you are not alone. On the Nevada legislative website, the opinion poll tracking shows that 79% of those who have responded support the Convention of States resolution.

A Convention of States can help return the country to our Founding Fathers’ original vision of a limited federal government that is of, by, and for the people.

So call, email, or personally visit Assemblyman Stewart today and urge him to bring AJR7 to a vote this week!
