Maryland's Deirdre Elvis-Peterson of District 44 was featured on the Convention of States national Rumble channel with her testimony to the Maryland Senate in support of the COS bill:

"I cannot send my children to public school due to the degradation of the public school system...Sadly, I fear I may have to relocate to a state where the legislators will actively work to protect my freedoms...I've witnessed our federal government exercise powers that it should not be able to. I've witnessed lifetime politicians use their seats for their benefit, not that of their constituents."
