No bill coming out of Congress from Democrats or Republicans alike will alter the horrendous path America is headed down.
Mark Levin offered two reasons why more legislation will never fix the problems we see today on his Sunday night Fox News show. First, the House of Representatives is up for election every two years, so future congresses can never be secured. Secondly, the system is broken.
The U.S. Congress and past presidents have broken the system, with the structural problems evolving over the past 100 years. Describing the Article V process written into the U.S. Constitution, Levin said the government is oppressive and our Constitution gives us a way out.
"Convention of States, Article V, state legislatures. It's time to step up," Levin proclaimed. "You want to fix the country, that's how we fix the country."
Utilizing this approach, the state legislatures actually have more power than Congress and the President put together when it comes to fixing this problem.
But why aren't genuine conservatives in Congress speaking up about this effective solution? Levin openly called out the conservatives in the House and Senate who are upset about the direction of our country but unwilling to promote Convention of States.
"Not one of them gets up on the floor and talks about Article V. Why is that?" asked Levin. If you're a conservative in the House, then start to talk about it. "If you're a conservative in the Senate, start to talk about it. Even though you have no role in it, you can help us promote it. That's at least in significant part how we effectively try to address this."

Last week, Levin vowed to keep a list of D.C. politicians who are for and against Convention of States.
