Idaho legislative session begins on Monday, January 9, 2023! It is the duty of our legislators to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States.
Your legislators need to know that you want Idaho to join the 19 other states that have passed the Convention of States resolution to bring power back to the states and the people, where it belongs. Our convention would only allow the states to discuss amendments that, “limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government, impose fiscal restraints, and place term limits on federal officials.”
Please write or email House Representative Jeff Cornilles to let him know of your support for Convention of States.
Congratulate him on his election and thank him for his service to our state. Let him know that over 26,000 Idahoans support the Convention of States resolution and you appreciate his support as well.
Convention of States is the tool our Constitution gives us to rein in the federal government. We must not fail to use it at this nation's greatest time of need.
