A relatively quiet legislative week is on tap, though important F3 legislation may be discussed on the Bayou.
Today in Louisiana, there is a possibility that the state senate will debate and vote upon SB 133. This legislation bars international organizations such as the World Health Organization, the World Economic Forum, and the United Nations from any power or jurisdiction in the state of Louisiana.
SB 133 prevents communications or recommendations that are issued by such organizations as the impetus to action by any governmental entity of the state of Louisiana.
As detailed here, Convention of States Action (COSA) Louisiana state director Julie Sandifer delivered testimony in favor of SB 133 during a successful hearing conducted by the Senate Committee on Commerce, Consumer Protection & International Affairs.
The committee voted in favor of the measure, which was offered by Sen. Thomas Pressly.

UPDATE: SB 133 was approved in the Louisiana Senate on March 26, and moves to the House of Representatives for consideration.
