2/3/25 - Kansas committee hears public testimony on COS

On Monday, the Kansas Senate Committee on Federal and State Affairs heard public testimony on Senate Concurrent Resolution (SCR) 1604 — the Convention of States application for a limited Article V convention — with a group of advocates representing more than 47,000 Kansas petition signers.

2/3/25 - South Dakota House State Affairs Committee passes COS resolution!


Less than two weeks after the South Dakota Senate passed SJR 502, the House State Affairs Committee heard public testimony and voted 8-5 in favor of the COS application. Former U.S. Senator and Convention of States Senior Advisor Rick Santorum joined the state grassroots team, delivering a powerful endorsement of the resolution.

2/4/25 - South Dakota House to debate COS resolution and vote!

The South Dakota House has a chance to make history. Should lawmakers approve SJR 502 following floor debate, the Mount Rushmore State will become the 20th to call for an Article V convention. Watch the debate and vote beginning at 3:00 p.m. ET/2:00 CT:
