Is the Constitution still relevant? Does it serve its intended purpose in today’s America? Does our federal government adhere to the original intention of the Constitution? These questions and more were answered over the summer as Regional Captain, Chet Grant, dedicated every Thursday evening for 12 weeks to the study of our country’s most consequential law-enforcement document.
Chet Grant presented this series, with a focus on the history and original intention of the Constitution and its meaning. As part of our Convention of States Michigan grassroots mission, our Michigan-based team has a desire to present unbiased, accurate and solid information to the Michigan electorate on the Constitution. Our goal is to inform and engage. This Constitutional series was a successful event that accomplished that objective!
The series brought individuals from Clio, Saginaw, Heartland and the Thumb! More than a dozen people came together to relearn the importance of the Constitution. The biggest takeaway: it is ever-more important that we return our country closer to its original founding. Our Constitution is relevant; it is the most relevant in preserving our Rights and our republican government.
