To counter the profane LGBT cultural propaganda progressives force into all aspects of life every June, actor, author and Convention of States endorser Kirk Cameron has prepared an opposing message in his second children's book, "Pride Comes Before the Fall."
Cameron's new book teaches an important lesson about humility and the wickedness of pride, the first of several upcoming children's books on the seven deadly sins by the conservative publishing company Brave Books.
"The Bible clearly states that [pride] is not just a sin. It’s the most deadly of sins. It’s a very important topic that we all need to be reminded of and especially kids,” said Trent Talbot, CEO of Brave Publishing Co.
When children see pride celebrated at school, Target, and every other public space, it becomes difficult to counter the culture's inappropriate ways. The book is intended to provide parents with an alternative resource during a month that undoubtedly blurs moral lines in the eyes of vulnerable children.
"Pride is not leading us in the right direction," Cameron said. "Rather than complaining about the bad things going on in the world, I wake up in the morning and say how can I be a part of the solution.... That's what I'm trying to provide, some encouragement and some inspiration that drives some positive action."
The picture book is set to hit store shelves on June 1, and while it coincides with the start of "pride" month, it's not an anti-LGBT book.
Cameron has called the Convention of States movement "the last line of defense if the government turns tyrannical."
