Justice Department IG Report: FBI agents regularly received free handouts from journalists

Published in Uncategorized on June 18, 2018 by Article V Patriot

The latest inspector general report from the Department of Justice doesn't look good for deep-state elitists in D.C. Turns out, politics do influence decisions made by law enforcement officers, even during the most important election our nation holds.

But that's not all.

The report also found that FBI agents were in regular contact with D.C. journalists who gave them free meals, drinks, and other handouts.

The Daily Signal reports:

On page XII in the report, the inspector general says the department “identified numerous FBI employees, at all levels of the organization and with no official reason to be in contact with the media, who were nevertheless in frequent contact with reporters.”

The IG expressed “profound concerns about the volume and extent of unauthorized media contacts by FBI personnel that we have uncovered our review.”

The contact between FBI agents and the media extended to “improperly receiving benefits from reporters, including tickets to sporting events, golfing outings, drinks and meals, and admittance to nonpublic social events.”

The American people aren't surprised by any of this, but their knowledge of corruption doesn't do anything to stop it. Federal politics are too inaccessible for average Americans to wield influence, and until now they've haven't been able to do much in the nation's capital except vote.

That's why millions have joined the Article V Convention of States movement. A Convention of States is called by state legislatures and has the power to propose constitutional amendments that drastically change how D.C. operates.

Article V is the Founders' solution to federal corruption, a solution that allows We the People to finally have a say in how our nation operates.
