The "30x30 Agenda" event will examine a climate policy executive order, Conserving & Protecting our Nation’s Lands & Waters, issued in January 2021 by the Biden administration. The order directs various agencies of the executive branch -- including the Department of Agriculture, Department of Interior, and Department of Commerce -- to take steps to "conserve" at least 30 percent of U.S. land and waters by 2030.
