John Kerry connects climate change to health issues, calls for end to all coal plants

Published in Blog on December 04, 2023 by Brianna Kraemer

After traveling halfway around the globe to attend the COP28 climate summit in Dubai, America’s unelected climate czar John Kerry called for a complete end to coal power plants to protect humanity.

Kerry’s presentation came on the summit’s Heath Day, which was opened by Bill Gates. Kerry admitted that he’s becoming ‘more and more militant’ in his climate work, suggesting no coal-fired power plants should be permitted ‘anywhere in the world.’

“There shouldn’t be any more coal-fired power plants permitted anywhere in the world,” said Kerry about issuing permits for coal power plants. “That’s how you can do something for health. And the reality is that we’re not doing it.”

However, being a reliable and inexpensive resource, coal continues to dominate the world. As one X user pointed out, solar, wind, and EV battery manufacturing facilities run on coal. While about 20% of America’s electricity is generated by coal, fossil fuels account for 60% of the nation’s power generation.

Linking the environment to health, Kerry said “The climate crisis and the health crisis are one and the same." Echoing the fear-striking narrative, Hillary Clinton claimed that we're seeing rising deaths due to climate change.

Pandemics, failing immune systems, autism rates, childhood cancer, antibiotic resistance, heart disease, obesity, depression – the new narrative puts it all on the climate… and we the people. Whether it’s the rising cardiovascular issues linked to the COVID-19 vaccine or other ingested toxins damaging human health, any condition that's possibly a result of officials' poor decisions was instantly dismissed. Big Pharma was cleared of its guilt and accountability dissipated from the entire medical field with the blanket statement.

What a convenient narrative at a time when Big Pharma has never faced so much criticism.

Nevertheless, Washington needs accountability. The ever-changing climate narrative allows every government bureaucrat to wipe their hands clean of any public condemnation, but the Convention of States movement provides hope for those who see through the phony attempts to redirect blame.

Convention of States is using Article V to call a state convention to ensure federal bureaucrats are put back in their limited place. We want the American people to live a life free from today’s overly intrusive, corrupt government. To support us, please sign the petition below.

Petition your state legislator

Almost everyone knows that our federal government is on a dangerous course. The unsustainable debt combined with crushing regulations on states and businesses is a recipe for disaster.

What is less known is that the Founders gave state legislatures the power to act as a final check on abuses of power by Washington, DC. Article V of the U.S. Constitution authorizes the state legislatures to call a convention to proposing needed amendments to the Constitution. This process does not require the consent of the federal government in Washington DC.

I support Convention of States; a national movement to call a convention under Article V of the United States Constitution, restricted to proposing amendments that will impose fiscal restraints on the federal government, limit its power and jurisdiction, and impose term limits on its officials and members of Congress.

I want our state to be one of the necessary 34 states to pass a resolution calling for this kind of an Article V convention. You can find a copy of the model resolution and the Article V Pocket Guide (which explains the process and answers many questions) here: https://conventionofstates.com/handbook_pdf

I ask that you support Convention of States and consider becoming a co-sponsor. Please respond to my request by informing the national COS team of your position, or sending them any questions you may have:
