CCP behind push for Americans to reduce meat intake

Published in Blog on November 29, 2023 by Brianna Kraemer

They first tried to guilt us with personalized climate footprint scores, but the population didn’t care. They tried marketing campaigns and tax incentives for electric vehicles, but the population didn’t care. They even tried to regulate our household items, like light bulbs and lawn equipment, but the population didn’t seem phased.

So what are they moving on to now? The food you consume daily.

Americans just haven’t gone along with the global climate crisis campaign, so the United Nations is prepared to curb our meat consumption in order to reduce our 'carbon footprint.' That is the carbon footprint that Americans still have yet to surrender to.

The UN’s Food & Agriculture Organization (FAO) doesn’t plan to reduce worldwide meat consumption. It only intends to target prosperous, Western nations like America. The anti-meat plan will be released at the upcoming COP28 climate summit in Dubai. According to reports, the plan will recommend nations that "over-consume meat" to limit their consumption as part of a broader effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in line with the Paris Climate Agreement.

Interestingly, the UN’s FAO is headed by Qu Dongyu, a top Chinese Communist Party official who is known for using the agency to serve Beijing. As the Washington Free Beacon reports, it's unlikely that the meat intake directive will apply to China, as the United Nations still considers China a developing country.

"Nobody actually takes him seriously: It's not him, it's China," one former official told Politico. "I'm not convinced he would make a single decision without first checking it with the capital."

When it comes down to it, the CCP is ushering in food management over Americans while prioritizing their own nation’s best interests. The average American consumes about 127 kilograms of meat a year compared with 7 kilograms in Nigeria and just 3 kilograms in the Democratic Republic of Congo, according to FAO data.

With food systems accounting for about a third of global greenhouse gas emissions and 40% of methane, the UN hopes the meat intake plan will accelerate the transition to 1.5 degrees and create a more sustainable global food system. In reality, it’s about control and surrendering freedoms to a foreign entity that does not put America first.

Egotistical elitists think they can control the masses and push through unnatural concepts like lab-grown “meat” that will miraculously transform the earth’s weather trends. Americans value liberty and the choices that come with it. We the People must continue to put God above every worldly authority and use our power granted in the Constitution to fight for what we believe.

Now is the time to support the Convention of States cause. Please take a moment to add your name to our petition below.

Petition your state legislator

Almost everyone knows that our federal government is on a dangerous course. The unsustainable debt combined with crushing regulations on states and businesses is a recipe for disaster.

What is less known is that the Founders gave state legislatures the power to act as a final check on abuses of power by Washington, DC. Article V of the U.S. Constitution authorizes the state legislatures to call a convention to proposing needed amendments to the Constitution. This process does not require the consent of the federal government in Washington DC.

I support Convention of States; a national movement to call a convention under Article V of the United States Constitution, restricted to proposing amendments that will impose fiscal restraints on the federal government, limit its power and jurisdiction, and impose term limits on its officials and members of Congress.

I want our state to be one of the necessary 34 states to pass a resolution calling for this kind of an Article V convention. You can find a copy of the model resolution and the Article V Pocket Guide (which explains the process and answers many questions) here: https://conventionofstates.com/handbook_pdf

I ask that you support Convention of States and consider becoming a co-sponsor. Please respond to my request by informing the national COS team of your position, or sending them any questions you may have:
