Joe Biden spent how many days on vacation in 2022?!

Published in Blog on January 05, 2023 by Brianna Kraemer

This is not a joke. The President of the United States spent 146 days on vacation in 2022, outpacing essentially every other president in modern history.

To be clear, that's 40% of the work year.

This begs the question, who is running America? Because it's surely not President Biden.

Of course, there have been many questions as to Biden's mental health and his ability to run the country. However, an additional concern is if Biden really understands that he works in the public sector to serve the people of America.

Going on vacation for almost half of the year is certainly not in the people's best interest. There are issues that need addressing, but instead, Biden goes home.

The President's vacation statistics were revealed by the RNC, which reported that Biden spent 191 days at his home in Delaware and 66 days at Camp David.

Biden has done far fewer press conferences and interviews than his predecessors as well, something that has become obvious to the general public.

With so many issues at hand and Biden completely shoved aside, there are undoubtedly others at the top of government controlling the White House from behind the scenes.

Working in the public sector means working off the backs of taxpayers who are actually making a living doing meaningful work.

To spend insane amounts of money and then not even show up for work would never be allowed for anyone but the Swamp creatures. That's exactly what they do in Washington, but it's not how average Americans retain a job.

Convention of States is ready to agitate the Swamp and let career politicians know they won't be able to retain a publicly-funded job forever.

We will soon enough hold a first-ever Convention of States using the Founders' constitutional method, but we need you to sign the COS petition below to help us get there.

Petition your state legislator

Almost everyone knows that our federal government is on a dangerous course. The unsustainable debt combined with crushing regulations on states and businesses is a recipe for disaster.

What is less known is that the Founders gave state legislatures the power to act as a final check on abuses of power by Washington, DC. Article V of the U.S. Constitution authorizes the state legislatures to call a convention to proposing needed amendments to the Constitution. This process does not require the consent of the federal government in Washington DC.

I support Convention of States; a national movement to call a convention under Article V of the United States Constitution, restricted to proposing amendments that will impose fiscal restraints on the federal government, limit its power and jurisdiction, and impose term limits on its officials and members of Congress.

I want our state to be one of the necessary 34 states to pass a resolution calling for this kind of an Article V convention. You can find a copy of the model resolution and the Article V Pocket Guide (which explains the process and answers many questions) here: https://conventionofstates.com/handbook_pdf

I ask that you support Convention of States and consider becoming a co-sponsor. Please respond to my request by informing the national COS team of your position, or sending them any questions you may have:
