Last month, Nebraska Convention of States sponsor Senator Steve Halloran made a daring move to advance the Convention of States Resolution (LR-14) in the Nebraska legislature. Sen. Halloran was attempting to break a stalemate in a committee that has been deadlocked on Convention of States for over three years, but the move narrowly failed.
Now, we may have another chance.
Senator Mike Flood has indicated he made a mistake in not voting for the attempt, and has since made a motion to revive LR-14 and keep alive Nebraska's application to join the Convention of States movement!
This is where you come in. Senator Flood's motion to "suspend the rules" and put LR-14 back into committee needs to be scheduled and voted upon by the Unicameral. The vote needs to garner the support of 30 senators out of 49 to be successful.

- Say something like: "Don't kill Nebraska's application to join the Convention of States, move LR-14 back to committee"
- Let these senators know why calling a Convention of States is important to you
- Term limits on Congress
- Out of control spending in the federal government
- Out of control federal policies
- You care about your children's/grand-children's future
- Stop socialist takeover
- Please thank them for their service to the state of Nebraska
