Gun Shows Take the Show

I have found gun shows to be a hotspot to meet freedom loving American patriots. And so, Saturday, November 13, 2021, I and Convention of States volunteers walked into another Showmasters gun show in Morgantown, WV, to set up a booth representing the Convention in order to meet like-minded citizens and educate our neighbors of the Article V provision to save our nation.  As we’ve seen before, Showmasters employees greeted us with a warm welcome and instructed us to our table.

As quoted on their website, “The two enemies of the people are criminals and government, so let us tie the second down with the chains of the Constitution, so the second will not become the legalized version of the first,” Showmasters demonstrates their understanding of the greatest current threat to our nation: its own government.   

In Article V of the US Constitution, our founding fathers allowed the states themselves to call a convention for the purpose of proposing amendments to the Constitution to rein in the federal government by applying term limits, fiscal restraints and limiting the power and jurisdiction of the federal government, i.e. smaller government. Showmasters demonstrates their support for the work of the Convention of States with expressed gratitude toward it’s volunteers and an open door to their gun shows across the country.

This gun show, for the Convention, proved to be another success with connections made with other patriots and petitions signed for states WV, PA and MD in support of calling a convention.  And we are grateful for Showmasters patriotism and their support for the work of the Convention of States!
